Library Services is offering a variety of classes and sessions during Learning and Personal Development Week. To register for any of the classes listed below, go here. We look forward to seeing you next week!

Monday 25th

11:30am-12:55pm Keeping Current with the Evidence using PubMed and EndNote

Attendees will get an overview of PubMed which will include: setting up a MyNCBI account; performing a PubMed search on a topic of their interest; saving the search as an alerting search in their account; and downloading the results to a text file. In addition, attendees will be given an introduction to EndNote and shown how to load search results from PubMed into their library; obtain the full text of select articles; organize a personal library (divide citations into groups); and email a compressed library to themselves.

2:00-3:25pm Getting to Know EndNote: An Introduction

EndNote is a powerful citation management tool that helps you organize information and streamline the publication process. You will learn to store and categorize citations and full-text articles; import citation data from your PubMed, Scopus, and other database searches; and create in-text citations and bibliographies in multiple formats and styles. This session will also include tips and tricks for troubleshooting EndNote.
