Question of the Month: How do I access SciFinder?

In January, we received two inquires about accessing SciFinder. Registration is required for using SciFinder. Register here.

SciFinder is one of our chemistry databases used to locate chemical compound information (structure, names, formulas, Registry numbers, and reactions) and search the chemistry literature. SciFinder is a tool produced and maintained by the Chemical Abstract Service (CAS), a division of the American Chemical Society. Learn more about SciFinder by perusing the handouts and tutorials available here.

Let us know if you would like SciFinder training. Contact us via email (library@coh.org) or phone (626-301-8497 or ext. 68497), or stop by the Graff Library and chat with us in person.
