SciFinder training sessions scheduled for early January

SciFinder logoLearn the basics and advanced features of SciFinder with Kaushik Patel, Ph.D from Chemical Abstracts Service,  a division of the American Chemical Society. Dr. Patel will provide two hands-on sessions in early January:

  • January 9th from 3-4:30 pm in Platt III (capacity: 58)
  • January 10th from 10:30 am – noon in the Flower building conference room, Room 196 (capacity: 30)

SciFinder is one of the leading databases in chemistry where you can find chemical compound information (structure, names, formulas, Registry numbers, and reactions) and search the chemistry literature. Registration is required for accessing the database.
