New A-Z List of Journals: More than 10,000 Titles Available

Graff Library Journals A-Z

The Graff Library has implemented a new alphabetic listing of all journals available to City of Hope users. The list includes over 10,000 journal titles from our electronic subscriptions (individual titles, publisher collections, consortial titles, and open access journals) and print collection (current and archival titles). You can browse or search by journal or enter a PubMed ID (PMID) Number to find information on a particular article.

Each journal title entry includes a list of years available and links to the source of the journal online where available. In the example below, Molecular Cancer Therapeutics is available in print in the library, online through the library’s subscription to AACR journals, and freely accessible with a one-year embargo through the HighWire Press Open Access site. Molecular Carcinogenesis, and Molecular Cell are both available online and in print (though the Molecular Cell print subscription will end in 2007).

To view the complete A-Z list, visit the Graff Library’s web site (or select Graff Library from the City of Hope Intranet site) and select the Journals A-Z link. Tips on using the new list including searching, browsing, and linking to full text are available on the Using the Journals A-Z List resource guide

I hope you find that this service expands the availability of our journals. Please don’t hesitate to contact the library director, Melissa Just, at x68614 or mjust@coh.org with any questions or comments.
